What to Expect

What to Expect

If you’ve never been, here’s what you can expect…

  • Nice people:

We LOVE it when someone comes for the first time.  But, we don’t always recognize the first-time visitors because so many of the people who come are still fairly new, so feel free to say, “This is my first time” and we’ll guide you in!  We recommend arriving 15 minutes early so you have the chance to park, meet our greeting team, check-in your children, and get settled.

  • A casual atmosphere:

We care about YOU, not what you’re wearing, so feel free to wear jeans or whatever is comfortable and sit wherever you like.  We won’t single you out publicly or ask you to say anything, and we don’t expect guests to contribute anything financially. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee before or after services out on the porch when its warm, and inside the Calvary Cafe when its cold!

  • A fun, safe environment for kids:

If you bring your kids, you can check them in each Sunday at both the  9AM & 11AM services using our family friendly check-in system. Our security volunteers monitor the campus during services. Babies and toddlers are cared for by loving volunteers. There’s a preschool room and Sunday School programs for grades K through 8th. And all of our Calvary Kid’s volunteers must pass background checks and have a heart for kids and families.

  • Practical Teaching:

At Calvary Chapel, you’ll hear teaching that connects the words of the Bible to everyday life and music that is lively, including drums and guitars. Don’t be surprised when some people raise their hands as a sign of praise while singing, and don’t feel obligated to do so yourself. We create an atmosphere of freedom in our services.

We love to share the love of Jesus across the street and around the world!  With a heart for people, we get our hands messy as we serve others.  Everybody belongs – every color, every shape, every personality, and people with every kind of story imaginable.  We trust the Bible completely.  And we value Kingdom growth and invest in multiplying new churches locally, nationally, and globally.

If you have any specific questions, email us at [email protected], and we hope to meet you this Sunday!
