Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

When and where are the services?

We meet at 9AM & 11AM every Sunday and 7PM every Wednesday
We meet in the Chalfont Square Shopping Center: 150 E. Butler Ave. Chalfont, PA 18914

What can I expect in a service?

Our services include contemporary music and a practical message aimed at real life issues to present the timeless truths of Scripture in a relevant way. Our verse-by-verse teaching is designed for both spiritual beginners and seasoned followers. We offer two services every Sunday at 9AM and 11AM. They are identical and last about an hour and fifteen minutes. When you attend, we don’t make you say anything, sign anything, give anything, and we don’t single you out. Though we receive an offering, we don’t want anyone to feel obligated to give—you are our guest!
*For security reasons, we do require some basic information if you decide to send your children to one of our Sunday School classes.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. While you might see some suits on Sundays, most people dress casually. We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear!

Are my kids welcome?

Yes! Our Children’s Ministry provides exciting, high quality experiences for children from birth to eighth grade at 9AM and birth to fifth grade at 11AM. Children’s Ministry classes are held simultaneously with adult services every Sunday, and we welcome you to take your children to their age-appropriate classes while you attend the adult service in our sanctuary.

My child has a disability. Are you able to accommodate them?

Parenting a child with a disability can be  both challenging and rewarding, and we want to walk alongside you and your family through this journey. Our Children’s Ministry team has a special group of Loving Hands Helpers, so that you can attend the service knowing that your child is not only in good hands, but learning about Christ as well!

What kind of church is Calvary Chapel?

Calvary Chapel is a non-denominational Christian church uniting people from diverse backgrounds (Catholic, Protestants, the spiritually curious, skeptical, etc.) into a loving church family.

What does Calvary Chapel believe?

Though non-traditional in style, Calvary Chapel is deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Christian faith as we teach through the Bible verse-by-verse. Our vision is simple: To change our world by developing Christ-followers who love God and love people.
For more information, check out What We Believe.

What if I’m not a Christian?

Our church includes everyone from lifelong Christians, to those who are simply curious about the Christian faith. Calvary Chapel is a safe place for people who are looking for answers to their spiritual questions and want to check out Christianity. It’s also a place where those who have decided to follow Jesus can learn and be encouraged in their spiritual growth. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, you can come as you are.
